Have been overjoyed seeing young teenagers sharing their faith on the beaches of Bude and Polzeath and on the streets of Newquay this summer. “Do you mind if my young friend shares their story of how they recently met God?”, I would ask holiday makers and often what followed, was a moving account of the young persons encounter with the living Lord. Many of the teenagers were from Bodmin and want to carry on with witnessing in their town. Can’t wait to join them!
Have used this summer to be out with the cross as much as possible in Cornish towns and have sought as much as possible to work alongside local Christians. Every so often I meet people who accepted Jesus years ago either through the schools and college work or witness on the street . It is like a touch of heaven to know that they are still going on with Jesus. In a couple of weeks time off to carry the cross with a Welsh friend who also has a cross and is carrying it through Wales. We hope to carry our crosses to the top of Snowdon in October.
