Cross-walking through the stunning Dorset landscape, accompanied by my mate Paul Shepherd, a Wareham pastor, provided us with many opportunities to speak with people. Paul was able to share his own story of how God led him from prison-life to pastorship. In one seaside town I had an especially moving experience. I was talking with a group of skaters who were making fun of everything I said. However, one of them, a Londoner, appeared to be listening intently and he explained that he had reached a point in his life where he knew he needed help. He received prayer and also prayed to receive Jesus into his life.
